„A Sage in New Haven“ ist eine Hommage an Professor Robert R. Wilson, emeritierter Hoober-Professor für Religionswissenschaft und emeritierter Professor für Altes Testament an der Yale University. Die Festschrift setzt sich aus zwei Teilen zusammen. Jeder Abschnitt repräsentiert ein biblisches Korpus beziehungsweise einen Studienbereich, für den Bob Wilson bedeutende Beiträge geleistet hat.
